When summer gives way to the hues of autumn, you would expect a garden full of asters and chrysanthemums. But irises? How did this flower of spring transform itself into an autumn beauty? Obviously, these aren't ordinary irises. These are reblooming tall bearded irises, and they're changing the look of fall gardens!
While most tall bearded irises take a rest in summer, rebloomers continue on and by late summer or fall they're ready to flower again. Just fertilize once after the first bloom and give them regular watering if the weather is hot and dry.
Irises are among the easiest of perennial flowers to grow; yet the blossoms rival orchids for their flamboyant beauty. We'll send you a custom-designed 10th anniversary test garden reblooming collection of 8 different varieties -- 'Cantina', 'Clarence', 'English Charm', 'Eternal Bliss', Halloween Halo', 'Harvest of Memories', 'Pink Attraction', and 'Suky'. They are rather uncommon and difficult to find, but their bonus blooms will turn the heads of all those who pass by. A planting guide will be included.
Plants are shipped from September through October. Order early; quantities are limited and are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. Sorry, we are unable to ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, APO/FPO addresses, or addresses outside the United States.
